{"id":2170,"date":"2024-09-26T08:14:38","date_gmt":"2024-09-26T04:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambabudhabi.esteri.it\/?p=2170"},"modified":"2024-09-26T08:17:48","modified_gmt":"2024-09-26T04:17:48","slug":"international-prize-il-teatro-nudo-the-naked-theatre-of-teresa-pomodoro-16th-edition-2024-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambabudhabi.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2024\/09\/international-prize-il-teatro-nudo-the-naked-theatre-of-teresa-pomodoro-16th-edition-2024-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"International Prize \u201cIl Teatro Nudo\u201d (The Naked Theatre) of Teresa Pomodoro, 16th edition, 2024-2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cSpazio Teatro NO\u2019HMA\u201d launches the 16<sup>th<\/sup> edition of the International Prize \u201cThe Naked Theatre\u201d of Teresa Pomodoro, in collaboration with Milan Municipality, with the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Teresa Pomodoro envisioned a \u201c\u201cTheatre of Inclusion\u201d that brings together different forms of art and centers the voices of marginalized communities, in order to bring performative arts back to the heart of society as an opportunity for growth and exchange.<\/p>\n<h2>The Participants<\/h2>\n<p>The prize is open to international artists in all areas of expression, not limited to traditional forms of theatre: companies, theatres, associations and institutions, operating in the areas of culture, art, and other forms of experience.<\/p>\n<h2>How to participate<\/h2>\n<p>To participate in the 16th edition of the International Prize, companies send the following material to the email address <a href=\"mailto:nohma@nohma.it\">nohma@nohma.it<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presentation of the theatre company<\/li>\n<li>Description of the show<\/li>\n<li>Full video of the performance<\/li>\n<li>Press review, if available<\/li>\n<li>Technical scheme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alternatively, companies can send the material to:<\/p>\n<p><u>Spazio Teatro No&#8217;hma Teresa Pomodoro<\/u><\/p>\n<p><u>Via Orcagna 2<\/u><\/p>\n<p><u>20131 Milano<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Shows need to have a duration of up to 60 minutes.<\/p>\n<h2>Deadline for submission<\/h2>\n<p>Submissions can be sent ay any time.<\/p>\n<p>If the current edition of the Prize has reached the maximum number of participants, the commission reserves the right to consider the candidacy for the next edition.<\/p>\n<h2>The Juries<\/h2>\n<p>The International Jury of Experts and the Jury of Spectators will judge the shows. The International Jury of Experts is composed of personalities from the world of arts and culture:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lev Abramovi\u010d Dodin, Artistic Director of Malyj Dramati\u010deskij Teatr of St. Petersburg<\/li>\n<li>Fadhel Ja\u00efbi, Artistic Director of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National Tunisien<\/li>\n<li>Oskaras Kor\u0161unovas, Founder and Artistic Director of the Oskaro Kor\u0161unovo Teatras of Vilnius \u2013 OKT<\/li>\n<li>Lim Soon Heng, cofounder and director of Malaysian theatre company KL Shakespeare Players<\/li>\n<li>Stathis Livathinos, Greek Director<\/li>\n<li>Muriel Mayette-Holtz, Director of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National de Nice<\/li>\n<li>Llu\u00eds Pasqual, Spanish Director<\/li>\n<li>Tadashi Suzuki, Founder and Director of Suzuky Company of Toga \u2013 SCOT in Japan<\/li>\n<li>G\u00e1bor Tompa, President of the Union of European Theatres and Director of Hungarian Theater of Cluj, Romania<\/li>\n<li>Toni Servillo, actor and director, Oscar and four David di Donatello winner, and Nastro d&#8217;Argento for career achievement among other honors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>President of the Jury is Livia Pomodoro, President and Artistic Director of Spazio Teatro No\u2019hma.<\/p>\n<h2>The Program<\/h2>\n<p>The shows selected for the prize will run alongside the normal programming of the No&#8217;hma Theater, each with two consecutive performances.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpazio Teatro No\u2019hma\u201d will cover travel, accommodation and technical costs in Milan for all the selected companies. Furthermore, a daily allowance will be provided to company members for the set-up and the performances.
